Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves for discriminating between normal and abnormal diastolic LV function using NT‐proBNP (red line) or NT‐proBNP plus 3 latent factors identified by PLS‐DA (green line). Combining the 3 latent factors with NT‐proBNP increased (P<0.0001) the AUC from 0.64 to 0.73.
