Figure 5. — Patients with hemorrhagic manifestations (HM) lost the coregulated expression of anti-inflammatory (interleukin-10 [IL-10]) and inflammatory (IL-6 or IL-8) cytokines. Correlations between IL-6, IL-8, and IL-10 cytokines in the groups of patients with hemorrhagic manifestations (HM—right column) and with no hemorrhagic manifestations (NHM—Left column) were performed. Each point represents the measurements for the two indicated cytokines for a given individual. The data was analyzed using Spearman's correlation coefficient with statistical significance at P < 0.05. Significant results are in bold.
