Low‐dose oral Cd exposure causes Cd lung tissue deposition comparable to human adults. Mice were exposed to 10 mg/L CdCl2 in drinking water (ad libitum access) for 20 weeks before sacrifice. Mice achieved comparable lung burden of Cd to that of human adults.
