Visualization of vasculatures of tumor-bearing mice with a lipophilic DiI dye. (A) B16-BL6 tumor-bearing mice were treated intraperitoneally with PBS (a–e) (n = 3) or three doses of 30 µg of PA-L1 plus 15 µg of LF at days 0, 2, and 4 (f–j) (n = 3). The mice were then euthanized and perfused transcardially with DiI dye, and tissues were sectioned. Representative vasculatures in tumors (a and f), spleens (white pulps) (b and g), kidneys (glomeruli) (c and h), livers (d and i), and hearts (e and j) were visualized under fluorescence microscopy.
