Albumin absorption aggravated neuronal damage in vitro. As compared with the (A) control group, (B) KA (10 uM) treatment in vitro induced significant neuronal damage. As compared with these groups, (C) KA + albumin (10 uM) and (D) KA + albumin (50 uM) treatment induced more severe neuronal damage and neuronal death in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Double staining of (E) NeuN and (F) albumin demonstrated a match between NeuN and albumin in vitro.
