Incorporation of the transgene in wild‐type mice improves the myofiber function. (A) Typical muscle cross‐sections from the atrium or tibialis anterior muscles from wild‐type animals. The tibialis anterior muscles were injected with ∼1 × 1010 vector genomes of rAAV6 containing either the MYL4 gene (referred to as MYL4) or a vector lacking a functional gene (referred to as MCS).
