Locomotor activity in the open field following L5 SNT. Locomotion is not impaired in rats following L5 SNT. (A) The total distance travelled in the open field was not significantly altered 15 days after surgery. (B) Distance travelled in the inner zone was significantly decreased in both SNT (p < 0.001) and sham (p = 0.014) following surgery.
