Steroid and sterol biosynthesis genes altered in the 18-h Severe PE treatment group. The three steroid/sterol annotations from Table 2 contained a total of 16 unique genes. All of the original DAVID downloads of PE-regulated annotations shown in Tables 1 and 2 and included lists of the genes within an annotation that were also altered by PE. These gene lists were very large and were not included in Tables 1, 2 and 3 to save space. The three annotations “SP_PIR Steroid biosynthesis”, “rno00100 Steroid biosynthesis” and “SP_PIR Sterol biosynthesis” contained 13, 9 and 11 genes, respectively.
