(A) Increase in actomyosin contractility leads to disruption of the collective migration and an emergent single cell motility for both low and high cell-cell adhesion. (B) For low cell-ECM adhesion the amoeboid migration is preferred, while for the higher adhesion (and stiffness) the lamellipodia-based migration is selected, but it can be replaced by the lobopodial migration in 3D stiff environment.
