Relationship between clinical status (Modified Brooke Lower Extremity Score) and VL FF in boys with DMD at baseline and 12 months. A moderate significant relationship was noted (r=0.54; p < 0.0001). Low FFs were noted in boys who are able to climb stairs without using hand rails (Brooke Score 1), whereas high FFs were observed in boys who climb stairs slowly (Brooke score 3), do not climb stairs at all (Brooke score 5), or are unable to walk (Brooke score 9).
