This mass also showed intense contrast enhancement (not shown here). b The fused FDG- PET/MR image in the coronal plane shows intense uptake in the mass (arrow) adjacent to the left ventricle. This was shown to be a paraganglioma. The FDG-PETT scan also ruled out any other metastatic lesions, indicating that the lesion was benign.
