Modulation of SPOCK1 expression affected cell proliferation in vitro.

Notes: Effects of SPOCK1 knockdown in PC3 cells (A) and overexpression in RWPE-1 cells (B) on cell viability on a consecutive of 6 days. Colony formation ability was assessed after modulation of SPOCK1 in prostate cancer cells. Colony was stained with crystal violet (C). Quantification of the colonies showed that knockdown of SPOCK1 in PC3 cells (left graph) significantly decreased, whereas upregulation of SPOCK1 in RWPE-1 cells (right graph) increased the number of colonies (D). *P<0.01.
