Effect of SVHRP on reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in transgenic C. elegans strains. Age-synchronized CL4176 or CL802 worms, fed vehicle or different concentrations of SVHRP (2, 20, 40 μg/ml) were collected 36 h after the temperature rise followed by the DCF (2, 7-dichlorofluorescein diacetate) assay for ROS described in Materials and Methods.
