Panels A, B, and C show responding in sham-lesioned rats, rats with lesions of the amygdala central nucleus (CeA) and rats with lesions of the basolateral amygdala (BLA), respectively. Rats in the Over condition received compounds that comprised a visual stimulus (V), A, and C, and rats in the CTL condition received compounds that comprised V, B, and C.
