Initial RNA products of in vitro transcription reactions with ATP, NAD⁺, or NADH as initiating nucleotide and [α³²P]-UTP as extending nucleotide. Reactions were performed with yeast RNAP II and an artificial-bubble transcription initiation template. Products were treated with RppH or NudC as indicated.
