A-F: The levels of Th1 and Th2 Cytokine secretion from activated PMBC cultured in the absence or presence of MSCs were measured at 5 days by CBA cytokine detection. The levels of IFNγ, TNF-a, and IL-2 secreted from activated Th1 cells cultured in the absence of MSCs increased over time. In contrast, levels were significantly reduced at 5 days when co-cultured with MSCs. Mean values of 3 repetitive measures are shown. Statistically significant differences are specified by asterisks, compared to the fraction co-cultured with MSCs (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, **P < 0.001). H: MSCs pretreated by IFN-γ increased the frequency of CD4 + CD25 + CD127dim/− T cells and decreased the frequency of Th17.
