The temperature/pH range of α-amylases to be used in detergent industry, feed, baking, desizing, brewing, paper industry, and starch saccharification are 30–45°C/10.0–11.5, 30–45°C/4.5–7.0, 30–50°C/4.5–5.5, 60–80°C/5.5–6.5, 60–70°C/5.5–6.0, 60–70°C/4.5–5.5, 95–100°C/4.5–7.0, respectively.
