Brusatol enhances the radiosensitivity of A549 cells. (A,B) Detection of ROS levels by the fluorescence indicator H2DCFH-DA 6 h (A) or 24 h (B) after exposure to 6 Gy γ-irradiation, using flow cytometry (FCM); (C–G) Detection of DNA damage by comet assay; (H) A549 cells were treated with or without 80 nM brusatol for 4 h, then were exposed to 10 Gy γ-irradiation or not. 24 h later, cell viability was measured by MTT assay; (I) A549 cells were treated with, or without, 80 nM brusatol for 4 h, then were exposed to the indicated dose of γ-irradiation.
