Effect of the hydroalcoholic extracts from different raisin samples on IL-8 release in TNF-α-treated AGS cells. All the extracts were tested at 100 μg/mL to evaluate the inhibitory effect on TNF-α-induced IL-8 (A); AGS cells were treated with increasing concentrations of TRE (0.5–100 μg/mL) as described in the Section 4 (B). The graphs show the means ± s.d. of at least three experiments performed in duplicates. Statistical analysis: one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Bonferroni as post-hoc test. *** p < 0.0001 versus TNFα alone. Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate (EGCG) was used as reference inhibitor of IL-8 release (>70% inhibition at 20 μM).
