A: GC content and the position of coding sequences (CDSs) for genes related to equol (EQL) metabolism in Eggerthella sp. YY7918. The horizontal lines indicate a GC content of 71.2%, 56.2% (the GC content of the whole genome sequence), and 41.2%. The coding regions for daidzein reductase (DZNR), dihydrodaidzein reductase (DHDR), and tetrahydrodaidzein reductase (THDR) commenced at nucleotides 15730, 15750, and 15760, respectively.
