No change in HDAC activity, HAT activity, or total histone H3 and H4 acetylation between FD and IPAH. Class-specific HDAC activity was determined by incubating tissue or cell extracts with specific synthetic HDAC substrates against class I, class IIa, or class IIb HDACs.
