Effect of chronic fetal anemic hypoxemia on fetal glucose. A: fetal arterial plasma glucose concentrations were measured throughout the study. Glucose concentrations were significantly higher in the anemic fetuses (□; n = 11) at the end of the study period compared with controls (■; n = 7; P < 0.05 by mixed-model ANOVA).
