C) Diagrammatic representation depicting the quality of scalp contact of the optode array, obtained from custom analytic software using real-time fNIRS recordings. The optodes obstructed by the magnet postero-superiorly lose their scalp contact (red), while the remaining optodes are unaffected and can still be used (green). The status of scalp contact was indeterminate for certain optodes (yellow).
