(A) Cells (OD₆₀₀, ∼1) of D. radiodurans(pRAD1), D. radiodurans(pPN1), or D. radiodurans(pK1) were used for U bioprecipitation. U removal kinetics was studied using cells incubated in 1 mM U with 5 mM β-glycerophosphate, and the percent metal removed from the supernatant is shown.
