Localization of U precipitate in recombinant D. radiodurans cells after U precipitation. D. radiodurans(pRAD1), D. radiodurans(pPN1), or D. radiodurans(pK1) cells were used for bioprecipitation assay of U (1 mM) under GC1 or GC2. After incubation for 18 h, the cells were either subjected to centrifugation to visualize the pellet or processed for TEM.
