Effect of OTA treatment on lipid peroxidation and protective role of NAC aginst OTA treatment in Neuro-2a cells. (A) Neuro-2a cells were treated with various concentrations of OTA (100–500 nM) for 24 h. Hydroperoxide levels were monitored by using thiobarbuturic acid (B). Neuro-2a cells were pretreated with NAC (1 mM) for 24 h followed by OTA (500 nM) treatment for 24 h and amount of MDA product formed was assessed.
