Wallichinine increases the intercellular accumulation of rhodamine 123 and doxorubicin in ABCB1-overexpressing cells. Cells were incubated with 10 μM rhodamine 123 or doxorubicin for another 2 hours at 37°C after pre-treated with 10 μM wallichinine or verapamil for 1 hour at 37°C, measured by FCM and photographed by fluorescent microscope.
