The locations of a Voronoi lattice's residence points are chosen (x1, … , x9), and then compartment edges are positioned equidistant between neighbouring residence points. This particular arrangement demonstrates how a compartment of capacity (m + 1)/2 can be used to interface regions where m > 1 with regions where m = 1.
