Hgf and c-Met mutant mice display profound hearing loss. A–C, Measures of auditory brainstem responses indicate that the hearing threshold at 4 to 6 weeks of age in Hgf-cKO (A), Met-Nc-cKO (B) and Met-Epi-cKO (C) mice shift from ∼40 to 80–110 dB SPL at all frequencies tested (4 to 32 kHz).
