SIZE: 80 cm ileum and jejunum length, 4/3 cm lymphatic ganglion at ileocolic angle. Subileal ganglion group of 0.5–2 cm. Appendix of 10 cm and an omentum of about 12/15 cm. |
Approximately 16 mesenteric lymphatic ganglions included in the block had the aspect of chronic lymphadenitis and with areas of hemorrhagic and thrombotic patches. Also present was thrombotic mesenteric vessels and an omentum without polymorphic modification. |
