Hon Shing Ong graduated from St Bartholomew's and The Royal London School of Medicine, University of London, United Kingdom. He completed his Ophthalmology specialist training in London. He is currently undertaking a joint research and clinical fellowship in Corneal and External diseases at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine MD (research) degree in ocular surface inflammation and scarring at the Institute of Ophthalmology, University College London.
