The first PCA component accounted for 21.98% of the kinematic variability in the stimuli set and successfully distinguished between chosen and directed reaches. Inspection of this component loadings shows positive weights (≥0.3) for movement time, total time, side-selection angle, vertical area under the curve (v-AUC), and ascending angle.
