RNP granule components include many proteins with IDRs. Scores > 0.5 indicate disorder. MEX-3 and GLH-1 have large stretches of IDRs; in contrast, CGH-1 is a mostly ordered protein. (B) Overrepresentation of disorder-inducing amino acids in subset of nine RNP granule proteins. Percentages highlighted in yellow are overrepresented (Ferron et al. 2006).
