The right hepatic lobes of normal rats were harvested as the normal controls (n = 3). The 1/3 and 2/3 PH surgeries were performed (3 rats at each type of surgery at each time point) and the remnant livers (right lobes) were harvested at 6, 12, 24, and 36 hours post-PH.
