Huh-7 cells where incubated for 24 h with 25 μM curcumin and then stained for 30 min at 37 °C with dichlorofluorescein diacetate. The resultant dichlorofluorescein fluorescence is expressed as the percentage of fluorescent cells that are more fluorescence or less fluorescent than control cells.
Corresponds to basal ROS detection (i.e., control cells).
