HMEC-1 cells incubated in the presence of either 10 mM Imeglimin for 4 h or 10 mM Metformin for 30 min. JO2 was measured before and after the successive additions of oligomycin and DNP. In parallel experiment, the production of lactate and the lactate-to-pyruvate ratio, as well as the content of ATP and ADP, was determined as described in the Material and Methods section. Results are means±S.E.M. of four independent experiments.
