The effect of different doses of minocycline 5 days after SNL plus intraperitoneal administration of minocycline immediately and daily after SNL up to 5th day after SNL on threshold of mechanical allodynia in juvenile (A) and mature (B) rats (Unpaired t-test, n=6, **P<0.01). Administration of minocycline (10, 30 mg/kg) significantly increased the threshold of mechanical allodynia in juvenile rats. However, only minocycline (30 mg/kg) significantly increased the threshold of mechanical allodynia in mature rats compared to the sham group. Since the pup rats showed no significant changes in mechanical allodynia, they omitted from this experiment.
