D-JNKI inhibits LPS-induced JNK activation in myometrium and neonatal brain at 1 and 6 h post-injection. Timed pregnant CD-1 mice were injected on gestation day 16 with Salmonella abortus LPS (1.0 μg) alone, LPS together with (5 μg) of D-JNKI or with D-JNKI (5 μg) alone. (A) Tissue samples from myometrium and (B) fetal brain were isolated at 1 and 6 h post-injection and analysed for JNK activity using an in vitro kinase assay.
