The enzymatic activity has been assessed by fluorimetric commercial assay at 24 h after treatment (0, 10 nM, 100 nM, 1 μM, 10 μM and 100 μM). TUNEL was determined at 24 h after treatments (100 μM) using commercial assay. The induction of caspase-3 and TUNEL was only detected at the highest drug concentration. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. The groups with symbol are statistically different (*p≤0.05, **p≤0.01 or ***p≤0.001) compared with their corresponding control. The groups with different letter (a, b or c) were significantly different (p ≤ 0.05) compared to other groups within the same drug concentration.
