Lung fibrosis induced by MWCNT. Wild-type C57BL/6J mice received saline, DM vehicle, carbon black (40 μg per mouse) or MWCNT (40 μg per mouse) and were killed on day 7 post-exposure. A Total collagen fibers were detected by Masson’s Trichrome staining of lung tissue sections, with collagen fibers stained blue (a–d scale bar 50 μm).
