The effects of sodium propionate on the expression of proinflammatory factor mRNA and STAT3 phosphorylation in colitis mice. The expression level of proinflammatory factor mRNA was detected by real-time PCR. The mRNA level in each group was determined by relating to the level in control group (defined as 100%; A–C). STAT3 expression in the colon was determined by immunoblotting (D). β-actin was used as the protein loading control. n = 4 per group.
