Relationships between renal dysfunction and growth factor concentrations. Relationship between (A) peak serum creatinine level during chemotherapy and growth hormone level on day 4; (B) peak serum cystatin C level during chemotherapy and growth hormone level on day 4; (C) peak serum creatinine level during chemotherapy and IGF-1 level on day 4 (D) peak serum cystatin C level during chemotherapy and IGF-1 level on day 4. Serum creatinine levels were significantly correlated with serum IGF-1 levels. However, no statistical correlation was observed between serum creatinine and GH levels, serum cystatin C and GH levels, and serum cystatin C and IGF-1 levels.
