Figure 8

5‐HT 2B receptor antagonists decreased serum levels of TNF‐α and IL‐1β. To investigate the immune response induced by bleomycin (BLM) and the effect of the 5‐HT 2B receptor antagonists EXT5 (30 mg/kg) and EXT9 (30 mg/kg), serum was analyzed by a multispot sandwich immunoassay. The level of TNF‐α (A) was reduced by the administration of both EXT5 and EXT9, whereas IL‐1β (B) was decreased after administration with EXT9. Protein levels are presented as pg/mL, n = 6–7, and the Kruskal–Wallis test with LSD post hoc test were used for statistical analysis; * 0.05, *** 0.005.
