Specific Cntn6 immunoreactivity was only observed in layer V of the P14 wild-type cortex and was strongly decreased in the adult. DAPI is in blue. The scale bar represents 250 μm. (C-D) Cntn6 (green) and NeuN (red) staining in the thalamic region of P14 and adult wild-type and Cntn6−/− mice. The staining revealed the presence of Cntn6 protein in the AD and AV nuclei of the thalamus in both P14 and adult wild-type mice but not in Cntn6−/− mice. DAPI is in blue.
