Effects of mSYMPX on the CFA model of peripheral inflammation. CFA paw injection was performed on POD 0, 14 d after mSYMPX or sham mSYMPX surgery. As in prior experiments (Fig. 2), this did not affect baseline responses (average baseline plotted on POD 0). CFA-induced changes in von Frey responses (A) and mechanical allodynia test (B) were significantly reduced in mSYMPX animals on all days tested.
