(AC) Representative current traces for voltage activation of homomeric KCNQ2, homomeric KCNQ3, and heteromeric KCNQ2+KCNQ3 channels in the beginning of the myo-inositol dialysis (0 min, Left) and at 12 min during the myo-inositol dialysis (Right). The voltage protocol used was the same with Fig. 2A except that the depolarization voltage steps were extended to +60 mV for homomeric KCNQ2 channels. (D) Representative control experiment showing dialysis of 30 mM raffinose did not affect the voltage sensitivity and current amplitude of KCNQ2/3 channels. We also used 30 mM sorbitol as negative control. Similar results were observed.
