Alcohol exposure inhibited primary HL1-1 cell proliferation. HL1-1 cells were cultured in the proliferation medium with EGF or EGF+IL-6 for 72 h. BrdU was added into the culture medium during the last 48 h of cell culture. BrdU incorporation into cells was determined by flow cytometry. Values are mean ± SEM. N=4 sets of cell cultures.
