Antagonistic strains (E227, E233, Rh269, Rh323) were inoculated as mixed-culture in combination with N2 fixing Azospirillum sp. ER20 at the time of transplantation by root dip method. Treatments with full NP and with 80% of full NP without inoculation were used as positive and negative controls, respectively. Means are an average of four replicates and bars indicate the standard deviation. Means followed by the same letter differ non-significantly at P = 0.05.↑ shows percent increase in yield compared to the respective control.
