Table 2.

The outcomes of statistical analyses used to assess goodness-of-fit between predictions and observed and experimental results of worm burdens, total egg outputs and faecal egg counts. Values for the R correlation coefficient, the coefficient of variation of the root mean square error (CV RMSE) and the relative error (E) are all given to 3 significant figures. The 95% confidence interval of experimental data is estimated where possible; in some cases standard deviations were not provided as only one calf was used for each measurement.
