U937 cells (2 × 105/ml) were treated with CNGRC-GG-D(KLAKLAK)2 (NGR-peptide-1), CNGRCGG-LVTT-OH (NGR-peptide-2, the negative control), NGR or free peptide-1 for 15 min and at the indicated concentrations. Detection of cell death (L2 + L3 gates) as detailed in Figure 1. The values correspond to the mean ± SD of four independent experiments.
